Emily B. Ogden, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in New York (license # 019841) and Oregon (license # 2505). She sees individuals and couples in her private practice. Dr. Ogden earned her M.A and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in New York.

Dr. Ogden’s clinical approach is informed by psychodynamic, experiential and humanistic theory and practice. She is engaged in advanced clinical training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples (EFT). She is a member of the American Psychological Association, National Register of Health Service Psychologists, New York State Psychological Association, Oregon Psychological Association, AEDP Institute, and Portland Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Dr. Ogden helps people with a wide range of mental health issues and concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma processing and recovery, relationship conflict and adjustment concerns. She has a particular interest in supporting people with histories of relational trauma.
